Transferring ratings to variants

When I create a variant of a preview with 5 stars the variant has no stars, I have to stop working, change to the no star filter, change the variant to 5 stars and then go back to my 5 star filter. What a waste of time! When is this going to fixed so I can create variants with the same ratings?

    I can not reproduce the issue (CO 7.1.5 / Win7) when I clone to make a variant.

    Make sure you create a Clone Variant to allow Capture One 7 transfer all adjustments including rating. When you select New Variant the ratings (or any other adjustment) will not be transferred. This is the purpose of New Variant (starting from scratch).
