Change Default Sort

Hi, is it possible to change the default sort order? It defaults to "name" but I never want it sorted by this as I use multiple cameras on a shoot so need it sorted by date. This causes me issues often when I forget to change it.

  4 years ago you were requested to allow users to set the default sort order.  Why have you not done this yet.  Its the most basic setting.
