Lens Correction in v.10.1 Freezing Up My Mac!

When using rotation & flip and/or any of the lens correction features under keystone, via C1 10.1 slows up my i7 w/ 16gb of RAM MacBook, to the point it almost becomes unusable. The fan will kick on and it starts running at a crawl. Well, v.10.1 seems slow overall, the lens correction seems to be a real issue. Suggestions? A fix?
