Copy/Apply Problems
I must be having brain-freeze, because I am unable to copy/apply adustments from
my source file to selected files. When I click the Copy Adjustments icon, none of the
edits are shown in the Adjustments Clipboard(should be orange check-marks). I've also
noticed that the Apply Adjustments icon is grayed-out and inactive.
I'm beginning to wonder is there is something wrong with the program, but I have
a distinct feeling that I'm missing something in the process. Comments and/or
suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling C1 v6.0.1, but have the same problem. I deleted v6.0.1 and
downloaded the latest v6.1.1. The copy/apply function does not work this version, either. The only
way I can get it to work is to manually check off the adjustments on the Clipboard.
For comparison, the copy/apply tool works perfectly on C1-5, so there is something wrong
with C1-6.

Are you able to do any adjustments? Just checking while your CO6 setup might accidently run in DB mode.
Another route in solving would be to do a refresh of settings. I would suggest to discard the preference file (user.config) and the default session file (captureone.col50).

I deleted the session file and preference file and the copy/apply tool still doesn't work. I initiated a support case, but
I have a feeling they will recommend exactly what you recommended.

Hopefully you included the things you have tried in your support submission...as well as info such as your OS and system. It is likely something unique to your computer environment, otherwise, there'd be a lot more information AFA your problem.
My thought is, since the major change from 5 to 6 involves GPU acceleration...perhaps install the latest video driver. I have had past issues with even databases affected by video drivers...failing that, turn off GPU acceleration in preferences if it is set to on (reads as auto). I have no experience with the specific problem, just a suggestion from another user...0 -
I had a similar issue with v5 when I accidentally turned off "Autoselect Adjusted" which can be found by clicking the triangle on the right side of the Adjustments Clipboard tool tab. I haven't used v6 yet so this may not apply. 0 -

Coach, just tried that and this causes the same effect in V6...think you nailed it. Good catch!0 -

Good catch Coach, indeed. Why didn't I remember this myself, as it has been an issue here more than once? 😊
Surprising part is that the OP says that throwing away the preference file did not work for him. The "Autoselect Adjusted" setting is stored in that preference file (user.config). So it must be either something else or the OP missed that part of the solution.0 -
Coach gets first prize. Autoselect Adjusted was not the default setting with
my freshly downloaded 6.1.1. When I clicked on it, all was well in Phase One
land. I honestly didn't even know it was an option, since I never had to change
anything with C1-5. Just goes to show how important little triangles are with
Capture One software.
Thanks to everyone who contributed.
