Can't find anything about this in what little info there is.

One of many folders in the list of folders in Catalog Folders is brown/tan. The brown bar/label extends from the left-hand dropdown arrow all the way to the right side, with the folder name visible in it.

None of the others has any color. Right-clicking on the folder in Media Pro 2.1 doesn't offer any info/option applicable.

Brown or orange? If orange, it sounds like normal behavior to indicate that the folder is selected. It also happens with annotation terms. If you right click, the contextual menu pertains to the orange item(s).

Are you saying you don't see any contextual menu at all when you right click? Or that you don't understand how the menu is applicable? Are you able to click another folder and does it turn orange?

Brown, most definitely. I can see the orange color when a folder is selected- this is not orange, it is brown. It has the same shape (rounded ends) that the main folder/master folder/top folder has (that is in blue). When a folder is selected and has the orange color, it has straight ends, not the curved ones.

While there are subfolders in this folder, there are other folders with subfolders which do not have the brown overlay.

Since there seems to be nothing about this in the minima documentation, I have no idea whether this signifies some problem I should fix, or whether it is just "interesting" and the significance can be ignored.

Okay, sounds abnormal. Or at least I've never seen any brown color before. I'd suggest creating a support ticket.
