Can I delete a folder from a Catalog in C1 8.0.2?
I accidentally imported the same folder of images twice into a C1 Catalog.
The first import is fine - all the images are there.
The second import is showing the folder as empty, so I want to delete it from the Catalog.
Can I?
I'm Windows 8.
Thanks.

Go to Library > Folders section. Right-click on the Folder you like to remove and select Delete from the menu that opened. 0 -
A folder cannot at the same time contain a number of files, and no files at all.
Therefore I have to assume that there is only one folder, containing the image files. And, that what Dinarius is seeing in COP8, are reports of a) the first succesful import, b) the second import, which failed to import any images, because they were already imported.
If so, the report on the failed import does not correspond to any extraneous folder on his harddisk. Just ignore the report and don't delete anything, or you might loose the images in the imported folder from your harddisk.

Many thanks for the replies.
I have to say I find the lack of control over the Library very frustrating.
In Lightroom, anything can be removed the Library (while NOT removing the actual files from the HD) by simply right-clicking.
Due to my experimenting with C1 8, I now have a Catalog and a couple of Sessions in my Library, neither of which I want.
I cannot stand having files and folders in a Library that I don't want. But, it looks like C1 gives me little choice in this matter.
A major design flaw, IMHO.

What I suspect is that I and other user who replied do not exactly understand what you are referring to. The Library is a tool, only a tool, not any kind of file or folder structure that can contain a catalog and a couple of sessions.
The only thing I can think of it that you refer to the recently opened list in the Library tool. This list can be cleared. But I am still not sure. A screenshot might help a lot.0 -

All Catalog and all Session files can safely be deleted using Windows Explorer. I appreciate that you might want to be able to do it from within COP8 - I don't know if you can - but the Windows Explorer route will get the job done.
