broken catalog -> GUI freezes

    mmh so I had it verified without errors but it still won't work. the gui freezes without any image displayed. if I then open another catalog through the right-click-menu on the windows 7 taskbar it displays an image for a blink of an eye before the other catalog is loaded which then freezes as well.

    I somehow managed to get it going again. Will stick with sessions. Sessions are awesome anyway.
