Nikon D2x with C1/Capture4 problem

Hi!

I thoroughly read the manual how to set up a shooting folder in Capture 4 and selecting this folder in C1.
In the tutorial it says that the NEF files will automatically appear in C1 while shooting into the selected folder in Capture4. Unfortunately it does not do so...
Only if I close the C1 window, or click another folder in the very left window in C1 it \"refreshes\" and the the pictures shot with the D2x.

What am I doing wrong?

  i don't think you did anything wrong! I had the same problem and contacted my photo dealer and he called phase one in Köln, Germany to get an answer. And the answer was: it doesen't work better \"maybe\" the update will work better!
  That's a joke isn't it? Let alone that you can't photograph directly in to the computer. My colleg who uses a Canon has no problem doing so. And for \"all\" that 500€?
  So I went back taking photos in Nikon Capture (not the fastest either) and working on them in Photoshop.
  
  I don't think this helped you with your problem, but maybe it saved you the time trying around (like I did for a couple of days).

  You are absolutely right: paying € 500 is ok, if the basics are taken into consideration, hey I am not talking about a chinese digital camera... it is a Nikon 🙄
