Are both recipes ticked in the recipe list?

If so untick all but the one you want to use and see what happens.

    Hi Grant,
I've done this dozens of times, I don't use the TIF recipe at all.
What's remarkable is that my profile is checked but the TIF profile is selected, which causes the 'problem'.

    Ah.

Is this something that only happens when you create a new session?

I assume if you close an existing session with your preferred recipe set at the time it will be retained when you re-open the session?

From memory session creation does not seem to include a currently selected recipe as saved for the Template. It always takes the first recipe on the list and assumes that your list will be in your favoured order of preference.

I shuffled stuff around on the list for that reason.

Bear in mind that will also have potential influence over the proof profiling depending your settings for that feature.

    HTH.

    Hi Grant,
Thank you for your input. In case I create new session P1 will check and select the TIF recipe.
The 'usual' behavior is that it only selects the profile, like this:
This results in the export not starting, I have to go into the recipes and select the required recipe...

I have just double checked using V9.0.1.

A newly saved template where the first recipe is both ticked to make active and Selected as the current standard settings to be applied was used to create a new session. The first entry on the list (the one I had ticked and highlighted) was set as the active recipe.

So from that quick test the template seems to be working as required. However I cannot be certain that there will not be other anomalies that might occur.

I do not have a particular need to set a recipe consistently for every session I create (or at least I don't currently think I do!) so I would not think of myself as any kind of expert on the matter. I am just reporting the results of some quick testing out of interest.

Hopefully someone else with the same usage requirement you have will be along shortly to take the discussion further - especially if there random anomalies to take into account.

    HTH.

I've just created an empty session and selected MY recipe.
Created a template from this session
    Closed the session
    Closed C1
Deleted the directories of the empty session
    Opened C1
Created a new session with the template
    Selected Recipe = TIF

    strange...

    Very odd.

I cannot think of another setting that would influence the results although I suppose something in cache might.

    Which Windows version?

    I'm on 7 Pro.

I'm working on Windows 10 Pro, I'll re-install later and see if this is solved then.

Thanks a lot for your time and help!

Okay, so yesterday I exported files with MY recipe.
Today, I started the PC, was completely off.
I opened C1, and of course TIF was selected and MY profile was checked so I got the 'The selected recipe will not be used for processing because it's not enabled' notfication... grrr

(if only this notification could be turned of, the problem was kind of fixed)

So.. I uninstalled C1, deleted all directories and reinstalled.
Problem was still there. I finally got it 'fixed'
    How?
By deleting the 8bit and 16bit TIF recipes, but that wasn't enough, I had to delete the JPEG 80% Adobe RGB recipe too!
