    Please see rule 11: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=4656

It is operating essentially the same here as 3.7. Only makes creative adjustments to the primary selected image. Copying settings to additional images is the same number of clicks (2) as 3.7 as well (1:copy, 2:paste vs 1:apply to selected 2:Okay). Now the difference of course comes when you only want to apply some adjustments and not others, here CO4 is a bit more complicated and this should be simplified in the future.

Sorry about the "shouting" but you have to understand how frustrated you have made many photographers by removing certain functionality that worked so well.

So you have created more steps with copy and paste when I want to make simple quick local adjustments. Having to select and deselect items in the copy palette is so slow and frustrating. It's fine if you want to apply the exact same settings to a lot of images routinely but there are a lot of photogs with a lot of different styles of working. And many photographers shoot a variety of images in a session, not everyone is shooting 200 shots of the same subject under the same lighting. I'm really tired of trying to explain and others as well. Why don't you just listen to us and implement the features we want! At least the ones we had that worked so well that you took away. In addition it has dawned on me that we can't shrink images down smaller than screen size anymore. That is a feature that HAS to come back! My clients always insist on seeing images at print size in which case most publications are smaller than most of the screens we are shooting to. And a lot of images are printed at quarter page or smaller sometimes. And what's with this orange border around one of my thumbnails that is always there. I have a lot more to say but need to get back to shooting!

Orange border thumbnail = Compare Variant. Allows you to compare one-to-many. Can also be used during tethering (manual: 5.5). You need to set the Viewer to Multi View.

Shortcuts: Set Compare Variant = Enter / Unset Compare Variant = Cmd+Enter. Or right-click on thumbnail or use Edit menu.
