can anyone help?

I have two copies of Captureone running in both my Mac and Windows, in my windows I have C1 v6 express where I can see system folders.

In my C1 v7 express I only see 'Folders', 'User Collections' and Catalog Collections ... I see no option there to enable system folders, I'm kinda lost here, can anyone help?

  On a catalog, you don't automatically see the system folders - only if you add specific folders to the catalog. That stops Capture One having to monitor your whole file system. Simply add in to the catalog any folders with images in them that you want to be able to see, then import the images in them to the catalog.
  
  Capture One Express for Sony is free - why stick with version 7 instead of the latest version?

  To fill you in on the history of Capture One Express, in CO Express 6 there was only one session. In CO Express 7 this changed to a single catalog (Capture One Pro 7 was the first release with catalogs next to sessions).
  
  The free CO Express Sony came with version 8 and had a catalog only as well, as all subsequent version up to today. And to be complete, the CO Express Fujifilm was introduced with 11.3, but that you are obviously aware of.

  CO Express 7 was a paid release and supported all sorts of cameras like Pro did. Only from CO Express Sony 8 it was free. The OP would now have to pay the full Pro price unless he has a Sony or Fujifilm camera. He did not state that in the initial post. Maybe my historical overview lacked this little detail. 😉

  And there was at least one photo magazine, which offered CO 7 express for free...
  My entrance into Capture One as well...
