CO 7.1.1 and D7100
The release notes say that support for the Nikon D7100 is preliminary, and on the Phase One website, the camera is shown as being supported, but not for tethered shooting. Is the preliminary nature of the support only the lack of tethered shooting, or does it also have to do with the quality of raw conversions, color profiles, etc.?

Preliminary means that you can read the files, process them and so on, but that they only have been roughly tweaked, and that we are still working to make the quality of the support even better.0 -
Thanks. Until CO 7 fully supports the D7100, I'll limit it's use to video capture. 0 -
Is there a timeline for Capture One 7.1 to begin support for tethering to the d7100? 0 -
Has there been any update on this? I still can't get my d7100 tethered to run live view... ☹️ 0 -
We will have tethering support for the D7100 in an upcoming release. I have to check with live-view compatibility however. 0 -

I saw the D7100 is now listed as supported for tethered support, and I can take photos but in the live view there is only gray and 'waiting for picture'. Is there something I need to do, or isn't the live view integrated yet? Without the live view the tethering isn't of much use I would say, and I can't even look through the viewfinder on the camera when running tethered now. But it does give a taste of getting the images straight up on the computer screen without the fiddling with memorycards/having to import and such! 😊0 -

Currently there is some issue with the SDK for the Nikon D7100 and the D5200, where the live-view is acting quite weird. We are aware of the problem, and working on it. However, we cannot provide an ETA on the fix.0 -
Christian,
I've seen in other tethering software that the D7100 live view size is 640 x 426--little more than a thumbnail. Will CO also have this limitation?0 -
I have some similar problem but C1 does not see my d5200 ( connection to windows is working correctly ). I can import images by every other soft except C1. I need LIVE VIEW mode, but doesn't see my Nikon at any way. How to configure it?? 0 -
try tweaking it. 0 -

Any updates on the liew-view issue with Nikon cameras?0 -
We are still actively working on a solution. It's not forgotten 😉 0 -

Is the solution finally on the horizon?
Your software (especially UI) is very attractive, but without that feature, I will not purchase it.0
