Stitching (and Moire removal) within CO PRO

The Stitching tool and, I believe, the Moire removal in CO Pro 3.7.2 for MAC is (are) limited in that it (they) work only with files from Phase One Camera backs.

Why is this? Why can't the same tools be made available for DSLR users?

  Stitch tool is made for the flexadapter for 4x5 cameras. Flexadapter are so precise it takes the images can be simply put to getter, with a 35mm on a tripod you can not take the 2 images so precise that they fit pixel by pixel stitch they do with the flexadapter. In this case you are better of using a tool that allw you to adjust stich point which the Capture One version do not and do not need to which images are taken with the Flexadapter,
