Output Sharpening in the Printer Tool

There is a sharpening control slider in the Print Tool which can be set anywhere from zero to one hundred. I could not find any explanation on how this control slider works and how it is related to the sharpening setting used in the Detail Tool Tab.
Can somebody help me?

  Good question Ario, and to be honest, I do not know either. That does not help you, but at least you are not alone in the dark. 😉
