JPEG viewing causes endlessly spinning wheel

I am using C 1 3.7.1 with Mac OS X 10.4.2 and recently started having trouble viewing JPEGS processed in C1. Each time I try to view a folder containg JPEGS created in C1 I get the endlessly spinning rainbow wheel. The JPEGS themselves seem to be fine as I can view them in Photoshop's Bridge with no problems.

  This is something that is very slow, we are looking in to several things to increase speed performance.
