Mask layer disappears

I am using CO 9.1. I have been using the color editor to create a layer mask to adjust white balance in mixed lighting situations on a job shot earlier this week. It has worked quite well most of the time. However, on several images, when I have gone back to them later in the day, the adjustment layer is shown in the list under local adjustments, but the layer mask and white balance adjustment are gone. Is this a bug, or have I missed something?

  Sorry, I missed this post when I posted a similar message. I confirm your issue. My post was entited, "C1P9 switches off gradient mask under some circumstances."
