Cannot open DNG files from iPhone in Fujifilm capture one

Hi Folks,

 

I was out over the last few days and had taken many DNG files on my iPhone XR using the moment app and the Manual app that shoot RAW.

 

Got home and imported them into Capture one.

 

The will import and read as a DNG etc but none of the sliders are working - frozen!

 

Tried re-import, tried update capture one and still same issue  - Running latest Catalina update and still no joy. iPhone is up to date also on 13.5.1

 

Please advise

  If you have the Fuji version the only raw files you can expect it to deal with are those from Fuji cameras. Not surprising that it won't deal with raw files from an iPhone? (DNG is a raw format.)

  I thought that the reason it was fujifilm was due to the presets and how it handles RAF files. Didn’t realise it was ltd to only Fujifilm and nothing else.

  Is this definitely the case???

  The only raw files the Fuji version will process are Fuji raw files.

  The only raw files the Sony version will process are Sony raw files.

  The only raw files the Nikon version will process are Nikon raw files.

  Yup, you need the full blown PRO version to access RAW files from any camera.

  You might check, however, what the upgrade will cost you.

  I did the math ones awhile back and buying Fuji version first and then I think it is $159 to upgrade to pro, that was less $$ than buying Pro all at once.

  If nothing else, I believe there is a 25% off discount you might could use for the upgrade version to PRO and that might help you save a few bucks.
