Workflow Photo Mechanic and Capture one and GPS data

Hi everyone, probably a user issue that someone might help me to solve.

I am a photo mechanic 6 and a capture one user, same workflow on 2 machines, 1 macbook pro and a win10 pc. I follow the same worflow on the 2 machines but get different outcome when it comes to GPS data.

Here is the flow, before the problem:

1) open photo mecha, import photo (RAW+JPEG)

2) culling; keywords and GPS in Photo Mecha

3) import in capture one

Now the problem:

A) on my win10 machine, i can see in C1 that both JPEG and RAW have GPS Exif

B) on my mac only the JPEG has EXIF data. Since I work mostly with RAW, can anyone help me to understand what I am doing wrong? I noticed this problem recently, i have been using C1 for 3 years or so, and never add this issue before. I can't relate it to any changes in C1 settings (but maybe I did), or could that be a bug that came with an update?

ok, i had some time for testing and here is what I can add to document the problem described above. In Catalog mode, GPS data follow the RAW and gets displayed in C1. In Session mode, no GPS data. Any ideas? I prefer to work in session mode from my MacBook and then import to the Desktop where I have my catalog... Thanks!
