Settings131 in local folder while using Catalog

In 13.1.x, I imported photos in C1 while leaving the photos in the current location. I am NOT USING SESSION.

However, after the import, the CaptureOne/Settings131 folder was created on each local folder where my imported photos are. This is supposed to be the behavior if I am using session. Can anyone confirm whether it is a feature or a bug?

I am running C1 13.1.1 on Mac 10.15.5

  Bump this thread to see anyone has seen the same issue? Or do you think it is a feature even if I don't use a session at all?

  I'm too new to CO20 to understand the structure but each of the folders I've imported the past few days have a CAPTUREONE>Settings131

  I'm not using Sessions.

  I've made quite a number of changes to images, and there is nothing showing in the folder(s).
  FWIW.

  Bug.  I reported it.  Capture One support said:

  Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention, we appreciate the time you’ve taken to contribute towards the development and maintenance of Capture One.

  
  I would consider this a bug and have already filed a report with all the details for the R&D team.

  Until it is fixed I try to remember to remove the Capture One folder added after import.
