Unable to import photos... (Capture One 20 Express Fujifilm)

Today, I downloaded Capture One 20 Express Fujifilm, build 13.1.1.31, to try using with my Fujifilm Finepix S3300 camera. I immediately came up against a problem: When I try to import images from a folder containing the jpg images from my camera, the folder appears empty and a message says 'no items match your search'. Can anyone explain what may be the problem?

  See the supported camera list on Capture One website, probably not supported because it doesn't produce RAW files:

  Thank you, Don; I guess that's the reason. I didn't realise that the program can only work with RAW files.

  I am not sure about the Free versions but you also may want to check under Edit-> Preferences and if you have a Image panel there should be a preference under Editing where you can select to Edit JPEG< TIFF or PNG. If so select JPEG there:
