    1) That depends on what you have set for the use of styles: The 3 points ... menu in the title bar "Styles and Presets" (not sure of this is translated correct) and activate / deactivate stacking styles, the preview reacts accordingly.

    2) Yes, you can, but not in C1, you have to do it via the operating system: In Windows you go to your user profile, there are sub-folders called "Styles" and "Styles50" in the folder "CaptureOne" in which you can create further subfolders and organize your styles. Where this is located on a MAC system has to be answered by MAC users here.

    1) A preset is a pre-defined adjustment. When you apply a preset, any existing adjustment is replaced (except for the Keywords tool). Clearing an applied preset restores the previous adjustment, whether this was a manual adjustment or an applied preset. As such, adjusting with presets creates an adjustment history.

You can apply multiple presets, called stack presets. You can enable preset stacking per tool from the 3-dot action menu.

    2) Yes, you can organize your presets in subfolders to the tool's preset folder. You can go to the so-called application support folder:

    HD/Users/your-account/Library/Application Support/Capture One/Presets60/name-of-the-tool

Note: what applies for presets, applies to Styles as well.
