    You have a catalog, with multiple smart albums. In one of these albums, the images are marked 'Offline'.

    I suggest you look up those images in the Folders section of your catalog, or the All Images collection and check the online/offline status.

    If the images are offline there too, locate them again from the folder or the All Images collection. If the images are already in online state, create the smart album again and delete the older smart album.

    @Paul

    Thanks your for reply

    I had a look through my catalog and the images in my smart album that are marked 'offline', in my catalog these images are mark as 'online' but are in their raw state.

    So the main concern I have with simply remaking and deleting smart album is that there are a number of images which I have applied edits to and while these offline images have the edit applied the images in the catalog do not, so simple remaking it may mean I lose the editing i have done on these images

    I have double checked things such as the images being corrupted and that their file name matches those of the smart album, but I just can't seem to get them into an 'online' state

    I would appreciate any advice in fixing this or some way to save my edited images.

    Hi Joseph,

    Unless there is something totally wrong, I would like you to understand that a smart album has nothing to do with edits that you make to an image.

    Again, unless there is something totally wrong, the images in the smart album and the ones in your catalog, are not the same image, or image file or variant (whatever you like to call it).

    You can right-click on an image and look it up in the Library or Explorer. This way you can verify whether you are really talking about the same image or that there are two versions in your catalog, stored in different folders.

    In addition, please note that you can create the same smart album, with a different name but the same properties, without deleting the original.

    Hi,

    I have quite similar problem with pictures "off line" on a folder in a catalog.

    First I try to locate again the folder, but it don't work anytime.

    I verify in the explorer the files are right there, so, I make some change in the explorer of the name of the folder, I add an underline for example.

    So when you are back in CO, the folder is unlocate. You locate it and all go right. You can after that, in CO, rename the folder and erase the underline.
