Scroll stuttering is maddening

This is not normal, Rob. I have a library of 25,000+ images, and I can scroll and browse into it without any issue, and with an old MacBook Pro (late 2013). I don't think hardware acceleration could be responsible, but you can try disabling it in the preferences.

Yes, Metal would be better just now, but it will come in due time.

Anyway, you can submit a ticket by clicking the link at the top right corner of this page.

    error 23:12:58.198777 +0200 Capture One 20 extractOptions:147: *** unknown hint identifier 'kCGImageSourceTypeIdentifierHint:dyn.age80g55y' -- ignoring...
    error 23:12:58.199957 +0200 Capture One 20 extractOptions:147: *** unknown hint identifier 'kCGImageSourceTypeIdentifierHint:dyn.age80g55y' -- ignoring...

I've been in touch with support, sent them my logs and did a complete uninstall/reinstall according to their quite complicated instructions. The problem still exists. They say there's nothing they can find in the logs. Not sure what the above error might mean. It's a C1 error, not a system error.

For fun I opened my last version of Aperture, discontinued in 2014, with my library of over 35,000 images, and it scrolls like butter.
