    Hi Jesper,

    Thank you for your post.

I have submitted your request to the R&D and Product Management team.

For me, it is the same problem. Especially at higher ISO the colours are quite dull. Will there be an update, addressing this issue?

I got my Leica M10-R this week and experienced similar problems. Especially at high ISO the colors seem to become "greenish" when color noice reduction is switched on. This effect becomes visible only at 50% zoom and beyond. At 33% and below, the color rendering looks more natural. (The problem with the zoom and color change has also been described in this article: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360012107937-Colors-change-with-zoom).

The high ISO color problem of the Leica M10-R seems to be caused by the color noise reduction algorithm in combination with the new sensor of the Leica M10-R. The Leica M10-R sensor is a newly designed and according to Reid Reviews (see www.reidreviews.com) has a much stronger signal to noise ratio in the green channel than other sensors, e.g. those of the M10, SL, SL2 or Q2. I suspect that this feature of the Leica M10-R sensor might impact the performance of Capture One's noise reduction algorithms. I solved this issue by reducing the luminate NR level to 0 and set the color NR level below 5 (my default value is 2 for the M10-R).

I twould be great if Capture One could develop an updated NR alogorithm that is capable of handling the Leica M10-R's DNG files better.

I like the software very much, but waiting for Leica M10-R Support too

Yes, Please! Would very much welcome an update for Leica M10-R. Missing my .eip workflow :-)

I too live about 500 meters from Phase One HQ. You can always borrow my camera if needed.

If needed - please contact me at: info@thomasnielsen.dk

    Thanks!

When is M10-R support coming to Capture One? A date, please. If not intending to support, just say so we can move on with other software. Not cool to keep customers hanging like this.

I got used to Capture One with my M10 but have now got used to Lightroom with my M10R, I'm sure support for the M10R will come but I agree that better communication and an idea of timescale would be great? Thanks

I agree.  Really looking forward to using the best raw converter and photo editing software with my M10R. Fuji X series models were quickly supported.  Shame the same can’t be done for a less popular camera.

It's really a disappointment to discover that Leica M10-R is not yet supported in the just released C1 21 (build 14.0). I hope the integration is prioritized as part of the post-release plan for C1.

I totally agree with Mr Rohre

Can somebody from Phase One please update this thread with the plan to support or not? And an ETA if planned.

Other Leica cameras are supported, including M10 variants, so it's reasonable to assume the M10R should be as well.

Totally understand that the pandemic may be affecting rate of progress but, still, need something better than just "feature request submitted," which is now three months old with no update.

    Thanks,

    -Roland.

    Hi Lily
Now there is a “Completed” label on the title of this request. What does “Completed” mean in this context? At the release of C1 Build 14.0 Leica, M10-R was not on the supported list.
It appears a bit misleading from my point of view. For the end-user the value of a completed submission is less relevant compared to a completed integration and a release.
    Maybe you can clarify, Lily?
    Kind regards
    Jesper

Hi Lily, please let us know about your plans to support the Leica M10-R in C1 21. Are there any dates you can committ to yet?

    Best regards, Christoph.

@Jesper, support engineers are measured by how quickly they close support tickets. Hence, since it's been 3+ months and counting of silence, 'completed' most likely means only that the feature request was submitted to the engineering team. I.e., Lily's job is done. I'd love for Lily to prove me wrong.

    Roland.

You are correct. The request has been passed on for management to consider is about all that can be achieved through the forum route and even through the "Submit a request" route.

Traditional Capture One policy has always been that there would be no comment on possible future developments so, in effect, there is nothing more to communicate.

Given a sudden burst of activity related to Leica products in V21 there may be some hope that even more products will be added at some point. However that eventuality may be influenced by whatever it is that has been agreed between C1 and Leica that has led to the extended V21 coverage combined with any potential technical challenges that may be associated with the latest sensor compared to the size of the user base.

It's difficult to know. Only time will tell. Probably.

Maybe Leica are planning a firmware update for the M10r and Capture One are waiting for that before they optimise their software?

Being keen on updating my Leica M camera for the M10R, that launched 4 - 5 months ago, I'm suprised that C1 still not have a profile build. You release a new insignificant version (21) - but can't update your camera data base ?????? When will you bring an order to that?
