Image darkens whenusing healing brush on a tiff file
I was using Capture One on an especially difficult tiff file and all works fine, though every stroke of the healing brush causes the image to momentarily darken, either as I'm applying the mask or when the healing is calculated. C1P indicates that graphics acceleration is being used, and the system has plenty of memory (32GB). I never see this behavior on raw files. Is this normal?

It may depend on how big the Tiff file is in part. And how big the tiff temporary work file is.
But is is also possible that healing on a tiff file is quite different to healing based on a RAW data and so a different approach might be used.
Does the behaviour induce any problems?

I have experienced the same issue today. Using healing brush tool, squared portions of tiff image darkens. This never happens with raw files and never happens before the latest update!

It's only a 10MB file. Don't know what other approach could be used to heal scratches on a scanned image - in most cases, wouldn't want to use the stamp tool. Doesn't induce any other problems, but it's pretty annoying.
