Program hangs-up while executing auto adjust

Pretty much frozen for several minutes while the little star keeps spinning around.  Anyone else experience this?  Is there a remedy beyond restarting C1?

  Brian,

  I very rarely use the full Autoadjust function and no I have not experienced it.

  I doubt there is a way to abort - it reads like the program is struggling for a reason is cannot do anything about and and unless Esc works or something similar it may be that the best one can do is check the log files to see if they give any clues.

  What have you got set to be included in the Autoadjust run?

  It maybe that some part of the selection is unable to run for some reason and disabling it will allow the rest to run. Of course that would only be useful for future use rather than allowing you to break out of a hanging or looping process.

  If C1 is completely hung up you may not be able to do this but if you can get the Activities Window running there might be some clues about what is happening.

  I am guess you will have moved on in resolving the situation by now so proposing any greater detail about that would be of little use.

  Thanks for the reply.  AA is at default settings.  I only use it occasionally to see what it does to a picture while I'm trying to decide what I am going to do with it.  Like presets, sometimes it gives me an idea I wouldn't have had otherwise.  I finally had to go to task manager and close the program.  Shut down and waited, rebooted and the problem hasn't repeated.  Hadn't had this occur before.
