Picture dimensions different in C1 vs in camera

Hi,

I'm using C1 Pro with a Fuji XT3 and the fujinon 18-55mm lens

At 18mm, the raw files have the same dimension in camera and in C1 (6240 x 4160 px)

For 55mm photos, the RAW and JPEG in camera 6240 x 4160 px, however in C1, while the dimensions are correctly indicated in the metadata tool (from the info read in the raw file I guess), there are smaller in the crop tool (5959 x 3973 px) and the jpeg generated by C1 is 5959 x 3973 px (the in camera jpeg is 6240 x 4160 px). Any insights about this?

  This would be caused by C1 cropping pixels when lens distortion correction is on.
  Slide the lens distortion slider to zero and you should see the crop tool size readout increase to original dimensions.

  Great! This is it.

  Why is the default parameter regarding lens distortion for this particular lens set this way (slight crop at longer focal length vs in camera)? How do I change the default?

  Usually it is only C1's own lens profiles that crop.
  Switch to manufacturer profile to test.
  You could set Manufacturer profile plus anything else in the lens profile tool and save it as a preset.
  You could then apply that preset as an adjustment on or after import.
