Capture to card and hard drive at same time with Nikon Z7
I have Capture One Pro 20 and I'm tethered to MacBook Air, but I can't figure out how to capture to both the computer's hard drive as well as capturing to the camera's (Nikon Z7) card at the same time?
When tethered I only capture to the computer hard drive, but I'd like to record the files to the camera's card too for back up in case computer hard drive dies during a shoot.
Anybody know how I do this?

It works with other cameras. Make sure to format the card in the camera before connectiong.
I don't have the Nikon, hope it is a hint

Some recent Sony and Fuji cameras have a connection mode that allows capture to a card in the camera.
Historically many cameras needed the card slots empty to allow full tethered capturing. If not empty the computer connection always recognised them as mass storage devices and so blocked any other device from using them as a capture device.
You will need to check the Z7 documentation to see what it offers.
The alternative would be to to shoot the camera to a "Hot folder" that is monitored by C1 to recognise incoming files. Of course the tethering in that approach is not allowing C1 to control the camera settings and functions or trip the shutter.
Maybe another Z7 user with experience of tethering could comment?
