cannot erases images after copying

    First, whether or not the import window opens after inserting the card, is controlled by a setting in Preferences, General tab, Importing. You might want to check that.

    If it is enabled but still not opening automatically, you have an issue. The issue could relate to the second issue of not being able to delete. Capture One might not recognize the CF card reader with the card as a removable media. Just guessing. You can contact support over this.

    On a side note, I suggest not to delete your images on the card with the computer but with the camera, in general.
