Can't activate trial version 21

    I could be wrong Adrian but I am wondering if the Beta counted towards your trial use.? It's just a guess. Have you deactivated your existing trial licenses?

    On the previous versions, I haven't had this issue. Don't really think that the Beta counted because it has another license code. I deactivated all my trials, but still, I get this error message. All I can think of is that this license code is for C1 20 and has not been updated for the 21 trial version. Don't know. :) 

    I had the 20 version on subscription, disabled it a few months ago and was planning to try the new version for 30 day before I decide tu buy it. Maybe I will write to the support team but the turnaround is painfully slow. :)

    Adrian,

    I would expect a new V21 trial to come with a new activation code. Not the same as a V20 trial code.

    Did you have any activations on another computer?

    You may have some sort of flag somewhere in the system files that was not correctly removed by the disable process (or has reappeared after a back up or something like that).

    Unless a search in the Support system articles produces something to work with I think a Support Case may be the best way to go in the circumstances.

    Thank you for the reply, I don't know if the license code is for the 20 or 21 version, it's the only one I have on my profile and, after I downloaded the 21 version I went over there and copy/paste it. I don't have any other activations. I will definitely send a message to support.

    No, I didn't.

    But I have figured it out the problem. I opened again C1 21, clicked on the "Don't have a license" link in the activation panel and from there I was directed to the C1 website and obtain a trial license which works. I guess the one that I had in my Profile page was for the C1 20 version.
