Absurd upgrade procedure
I used to be above average intelligence, IMHO. But after looking at the upgrade procedure for Capture one I'm reduced to idiocy. It's clearly designed for maximum confusion and obfuscation as to what you are actually purchasing. I'll respectfully stick with the old version an look at other options if I feel moved to get a new program. Really you could have done better.

Yes ... and it is also strictly prohibited to discuss about it :))) I purchased V21 in advance (which I now regret a bit after trying "beta" version since I do not see any much difference) and the procedure that disabled V20 after that (without any much explanation) was really quite absurd ...

This is a user forum as clearly posted and labeled. It is unfortunate that you missed these notices but it is a bit harsh to conclude you did so because of a loss of "intelligence". Perhaps a vision check is in order?
It is worth adding that this user (community) forum has been useful for me, and I suspect for many others, often coming to the quick rescue of seemingly doomed projects. Perhaps more importantly, the application is quite powerful and has, in my view, a great deal more bang for the buck than other "options".

Gee Michael I appreciate your not-so-constructive criticism. I have been a quite satisfied user for a few years. I've upgraded each time it was offered. I'm not sure what you mean by "missed notices" that I have somehow transgressed. I can reassure you that I was not commenting on the sacrosanct beta.. I have never seen or tried it. Rather I was commenting on the very confusing upgrade directions on the web site which reduced my self esteem markedly.

My only point is that this is a user forum and not a place for letting the company know about their approach to marketing and selling. No one here can "do better" about Capture One's practices that you mention,
I was trying and obviously failing to assure you that your self-esteem is not at stake here.
