    Do I understand correctly that you are not able to start the program? You alternatively could try to start the program while keeping the Alt-key pressed. This starts the program but does not open any session or catalog. If this works, the error is in the session or catalog it attempted to open. If this still fails, we have to look elsewhere.

    Can you perhaps tell us the version of Capture One you try to start, and the version of macOS? Have you been able to start Capture One in the past?
