I accidentally deactivated my license key (NX7Y- ------------). How do I reactivate it?

  The same way you activated it the first time, but that may be a long time ago. When you start Capture One in a deactivated state, it asks for a license key.

  I have paid for my license for the new Capture One 21, I have been charged for that license, it has apparently been downloaded onto my MAC 11.2.2 OS, and I have no idea what your app means when you ask for a license key. Where would I have found a license key. What is a license key? Have I just paid US260.00 for nothing?

  When you purchased the app you should have received an email with a subject something along the lines of "<your name>, here is a receipt for your order <order number>".    That email would have contained your license key.   It would look like this:

  License Key: XXXX-YYYY-ZZZZ-12AB

   

  That is the key you need to enter when Capture One asks.  If you did not get that email (be sure to check your junk mail folder) you can get your key by going to  captureone.com.  Click on the the icon of the little man next to the Download free trial link and log on if necessary,  Then click on the Manage licenses button.

  Hi.

  I just got myself a used IQ180 back and a license for the capture one software. 

  When I check under license in the software I can see that there are many computers who have used this license in the last months. Is this a problem for me that others are using the same license key?

  Krister,

  You probably need to ask this question on the Phase One forums.

  If it is the "DB" version of the license or the current "for Phase One" version it is free software for Phase One back users so even if the key proves to be a problem you should be able to get another free through Phase One.
