I've had this problem last year, it started after I signed up for the beta program and was installing version over version pretty often. Maybe without restarting my PC in between uninstall/install, not sure if it's connected.

I have tried everything by now.

I remember I posted the same topic on the older C1P forum and someone answered it perfectly, it was something about there being two entries in some setting, something like "open with" dialog, some Windows setting, and there was an entry from the older C1P install, and another entry from a newer version, so there was conflict. As soon as you deleted the older entry everything went back to normal.

Now those old threads in the old forum are all deleted and I don't remember what the solution was exactly.

Please for the love of humanity would someone help me, it's been a month that I'm ripping my hair out trying to solve this, please!
