My Bitdefender antivirus program found this same infection and quarantined it. The OpenCoreDll.dll file will not open the Crash Handler and I now cannot open Capture One 21. A crash report was sent in to Capture One and I have not heard back from them.

In the meantime I did uninstall C1 and got me a fresh copy of the software from the webpage.
With the new software version I was able to get a clean install and C! does work again.

Thank you very much Peter Carsten for your information. I had in the same time this problem with my AV Bitdefender. The solution was also the same like you wrote - and it works again ! I believe that this works for all the type of AV Software.

First of all, Peter, thank you for submitting your original post with the tile of the infected file. It jumped right out at me. I might still have been frustrated without seeing your post. Secondly, your last post regarding your successful re-install gave me the confidence to uninstall according to Capture One's step-by-step procedures and re-install Capture One 21. Currently, my program is up and running. Hope it stays that way and we do not have that ugly infection show up again. I use both C1 and LR depending on what pics I am editing. I love Capture One. KB
