Make Capture one less slow and laggish

Capture One, especially version 21 is extremely slow and laggish (everybody reports that), to show each picture focused (from blurred image) takes so long: 2 + seconds. How is it possible that for example ACDSee shows exactly the same raw pictures (from C1 folder) absolutely instantly ? This is very basic thing - how could a professional application behave like this ?

  "everybody reports that'" -- I do not report this, hence not everybody... never experienced "2 + seconds"...

  Having the same issues with lag time when editing RAW files. A system reboot usually allows for a few hours of better performance?

  I just logged a request. Lag in all on screen tools / menus is very bad in 14.1. 14.0 was faster, but 13 much better. I find C21 / 14.1 unusable. Very disappointed.
