Suggestions for alternatives

I have been a loyal user of the software for a number of years. Just about to upgrade despite the costs and now see that the prices have been hiked once again.  I am a student and just can't afford the costs.  Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives.  I already use Affinity Photo but want to port my catalogue from Capture One.

What a shame that it has come to this but I guess I am not alone.

  I have decided to upgrade to the subscriptions model.  A deep intake of breath because the price is high.  But C1 is the best product on the market if you want an all in one solution and, especially, like me, you don't like the Adobe route.

   

  My regret is that I originally moved from Lightroom to escape the subscripion model and here I am paying for a higher price with C1......
