    Stacking images together across a session no matter where they are in the session or catalog would be fantastic.  Lr limits you to them having to be in the same folder.

    Hi Brandon,

    Thank you for this great suggestion provided.

    It will be forwarded to the Product Management team as something to consider for the implementation in future versions.

    it would be also nice if you could group images by any kind of EXIF data. like lenses, aperture, exposure etc.

    Phrank,

    Like with Filters and Smart Albums?

    yes, almost. i’m more thinking about to group it rather in the browser than hidden in lists. more a visual light table approach.

    Surely if you use filters you should be able to do that?

    If filtering by metadata does not give you everything you are thinking of then what else is there that would provide the grouping based on data rather than personal choice?

    To put that question another way, what, in addition to the metadata, do you require that is not, for example, an "album" of some sort in concept?

    @SFA

    Smart Albums and Filters are good, but beside, as the headline says "Grouping images (non variants) in the viewer", I would like to group/stack images by EXIF Data in the viewer.

    OK. So you want another type of Browser in order to obtain Stacking options.
