Hi,

The following is from the company web site :

"From individual images to thousands of shots, stay on top of projects and files with smart management tools. Plus, get advanced settings to export different file types faster."

I have version 20 that I no longer use because, for me, the database was not fit for purpose.  I found it was slow and unstable when working with any more that 25,000 images.  I wonder if version 21 includes an updated database that  fixes these problems.  Any idea?

  One data point...

  I've a library with roughly 45K images.  C1 20 took 40-45 seconds to open this library.   C1 21 takes about 15-20 seconds to open the same library. Version 21 is also slightly faster when switching between folders.

  I don't know if that speedup translates to other library actions.

  Interesting as your times suggest that they may have made some improvements to the database.  My woes occurred with a library of about 90 thousand images with freezes and issues with memory use i.e. Capture One (v20) would use all the available memory and then freeze or crash.
