How do you duplicate a psd file in Capture One 21
In Aperture I could duplicate a colour psd file and then open that in Photoshop and convert that to a B&W version or another manipulated version so that I could then have two different psd files in Aperture. Creating a Clone of a psd file in Capture does not create a new separate file so that when I open up the second file any changes to the clone are also applied to the original. How can I create a separate duplicate psd file in Capture so that any changes to the second file are not applied to the original.
The only way I can see is to export the psd with a new name and then re-import.

Hi John,
You can make a new variant or clone your variant of the PSD file.
The new PSD variant can be edited further within Capture One, you can for example make a black and white version or you can choose to right-click and edit with Photoshop. When you save the file, this new file will be located in Capture One right next to your variant.I think you might have been choosing the 'Open With' option instead.
