Latest update from 9th March 2021 fails to identify dups during import
After installing the latest update, C1 does not identify dups when importing from an existing folder.
Is anyone else facing this?

And just to check, the option to exclude duplicates is still checked after the update, is it?

It's working for me.

Yes the Exclude Duplicates option is checked
I got a prompt to upgrade the catalog, and after that I proceeded to attempt an import of new images from an existing folder. The previous version would exclude all dups, the new one does not for me, even if the Exclude Dups option is set.

Yes, I'm seeing the same issue.
I have my images in folders on a NAS drive, with import set to Add To Catalog. Exclude Duplicates is ticked. All was working fine up until the 14.1 update.

Same problem but it does not happen all the time. Images are stored on an external HD with USBC connection.

Yes same problem here. Also, If I deselect Pick All I cannot then go select individual images.

I created a new catalog and did a couple of imports. Importing worked well. No problems. I wonder if the problem was created when the old catalog was converted into a new one for the 14.1 update.
EDIT: Since then I have imported my original Catalog into the new one and the problem has not returned. My new Catalog is functioning as I would hope and all of my User Collection organization and all adjustments seem to have been imported correctly.

I just returned from a trip and tried to import the new images from a card. Exclude duplicates did not work. Four duplicate files were indeed excluded but 188 duplicates were not.
