group/stack photos in the browser view

In Lightroom it is possible to group/stack photos together in the browser view. I dont mean a merge in the sense of a composition of two pictures like i could do in photoshop. I mean a grouping/stacking only for organization of pictures in the browser view.

This helps e.g. if you have several different photos that you don't want to be displayed as individual photos in the browser all the time (e.g. dozens of very similar photos that have been taken to do a focus merge later on) or if you edit in an external editor and C1 creates a tiff which I would love to group with the original raw to make the browser look cleaner.
