Make multiple selections while holding down Command, and hold down SHIFT while zooming.

Thanks, but the REASON THAT DOES NOT WORK FOR ME IS:

Even though I have 9 or 6 images in the viewer I cannot seem to select more than 1 image at a time.

Whether I click+ command, option or shift plus any combination, only 1 image at a time is selected

    WHY??

    Thanks,

    HOWEVER:

There STILL does not seem to be a way to SELECT MULTIPLE IMAGES IN VIEWER. For example if I want to remove from viewer multiple images rather than individually??? Click+shift, or control. or command, or option does not select more than 1 image. Why and is there a way?

    Thanks

I don't know if this is a terminology thing or a real misunderstanding.   The viewer and the browser are two different things.  One can not select images in the viewer.  One selects images in the browser.

I don't know how you have Capture One configured.   I have the browser sidebar turned off.  I switch back and forth between the viewer and the browser using the G key.   The browser only shows thumbnails, so it's easy to tell which I'm looking at.  I can select multiple images in the browser and hit the G key.  The selected images are displayed in the viewer.  I can NOT select multiple images in the viewer.

Yes I see, thanks for that. Rather than select, I should have said highlight.

One goal in viewer was to highlight half of the images (for example) so that I could remove them from viewer and focus my attention on the remaining half. OR rate several all the same rating for future removal. The reason I ask is that it was something I was able to do in Aperture (which, of course, is now unsupported).

But sounds like that may not be possible although a bit of a time-saver.

Anyway, loving my first week using the sw...

    Thanks again,

    @ Shane Baker

"Make multiple selections while holding down Command, and hold down SHIFT while zooming."

Make multiple selections while holding down Command, and hold down SHIFT + OPTION while zooming all images simultaneously .

??? Not with me, I agree with Shane. Holding down SHIFT only while zooming (and moving) simultaneously a set of images is enough. Maybe because I have a French keyboard ?

    Hi all

For completeness, I just tried SHIFT zoom and SHIFT + OPTION zoom in C21/14 and both worked for me.

I'm in Australia using a US keyboard - the one with the "~" under the ESC key.

    All the best

For me, only SHIFT+OPTION works. German keyboard, iMac 2021.

    Stay healthy.
