In B&W mode, the Balance Style Brush actually warms (or cools) a B&W image. IN COLOR. At least it does with my NEF files.

  Yep. A couple of weeks back, Paul Reiffer demonstrated this in his weekly YouTube video.

  IMHO, a useful feature - and one I didn't know existed!

  Not so sure its a feature or a bug. We have been told B&W cannot be in a layer, yet here we have the possibility of the opposite - color layer in a B&W image?
