Capture One 9 crashes when I click on an image to work on

My C1-9 software is crashing after I upload images, then as I click-select one of them to work on, it completely closes up-crashes.

I am using a Mac with Catalina. The software WAS working after I upgraded  to Catalina

and just stopped

 

Help please!

  Whether you are using a Catalog or a Session may be important but in either case the first suggestion is to run the Verification utility on whichever "document" seems to be causing the problem.

   

  "Document" means Catalog or Session.
