C1 crashes MacOS with hardware acceleration and MBP13 2015
Hello community,
I'm having a serious problem since release of C1 20 and 21 versions.
My MacBook Pro 13 2015 (Intel Iris 6100 graphics) with Hardware Acceleration turned ON for exporting and display makes Capture One behave as follows:
- in High Sierra: total system freeze, MBP needs a hard reset
- in Mojave/Catalina: all exported files are corrupted and glitchy patters appear across all of them, but no freeze
I never had such problems in C1 12. Crucially, this problem is not occuring on the same machine in Bootcamp Windows with C1 20 and 21!
Adobe apps work flawlessly with GPU and MacOS, but I mainly work on C1. This problem makes this a hassle. I've tried various OS and C1 version combinations, but nothing fixes this unfortunately, so I assume this is a bug.
Best regards,
Michał

I'm having a similar problem with all processed files being corrupted and glitchy patterns appear across all of them, but no freezing...in Big Sur on my iMac Retina 4K 2015 (Intel Iris 6200 graphics)
C1 21 works fine still on my older iMac 2010 running High Sierra

I have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, 4 thunderbolt ports) running Big Sur and the most recent C1 21. I was recently getting transient screen glitches in C1, and corruption of some export files. Turning off Hardware Acceleration for both display and processing fixed all. I don't notice any obvious decrements in performance with it turned off, though I haven't done any detailed comparisons. I have no idea why this issue just started in the last few weeks.
