I use the dual monitor workspace, too. I saw this on the viewer monitor when I first upgraded, but it disappeared after I closed C1 and reopened it. Hovering over the spinning icon showed the message to the effect that it was optimizing the viewer. Until closing and reopening C1, viewing the activities monitor showed no activities and did not appear to slow processing speed for any tool.

    Thanks for the response.

Closing and opening doesn't change anything unfortunately.

Even a brand new session with zero images still spins and all adjustments are delayed from making to the adjustment, to seeing that adjustment being displayed.

Really slows down the workflow. . not sure what else to do.

Time to submit a support request.

Check the log files for clues about what is happening.

Or click the "spinning icon" to see if further information is available.

The spinning icon is simply indicating that there is some active processing in progress but not necessarily for image editing. It will also spin if the system is still setting up GPU hardware acceleration, for example.

Basically, anything using significant system resources from within C1 may mean the icon is visible.
