Definitely same thing here - the image even shifts a bit at the higher zoom ratios.

MacPro 5.1 under Mojave - Radeon RX580 - Apple approved.

Maybe you could disable hardware acceleration (display) to check if it solves the issue.

    Did that - no changes

Is it possible to revert back to previous version, that still allow access to the catalogue?

I need a solution to allow me to carry on editing, phase one can sort out the issue at a later date.

    Any suggestions?

you cannot go back before CO 21 and use a catalog, that was created with CO 20.

When you upgrade to a new version, your previous catalogue is backed up. You could thus open an older version of Capture One by clicking on the last catalogue backup before upgrading.

I am making a guess here, but I am thinking that your integrated video card doesn't quite support the newer versions of Metal acceleration.

    It could be.

Whatever the cause might be, I hope Phase One actually monitors this section and act upon it.

It's that simple, you create a problem wasn't there before, fix it.

Have you reported this to Capture One?

Nope, because, as I stated in my initial post, my config relies on a 12 core twin-proc MacPro 5.1 64 GB RAM running Mojave with an Apple-Approved Radeon 580X 8GB video card, and I have the same problems.

gunner, I would try to use the raw files with a new session as this looks very much like something got corrupted, not unusual for c1.

    Hi Shane,

Yes, I have submitted a ticket at the same time of posting, it's been two days now and I've heard nada from them.

I'll give new session a go, but I don't usually work with sessions, does that require re-importing the files?

    Thanks

are your raw images in a separate folder on your hd ?  if yes you only need to create a new session and look for this folder with the file browser.  I would also remove everything related to c1 in the folder containing the raw images first.

Capture One has come back with a solution.

Disable Open GL completely, restart and the problem goes away.

    Enable it again, problem returns.

Rebuild the kernel, still same as above.

My MacBook pro was 2019 15" 8 core i9, apparently the hardware is too old for new software to support.

    Aha ?

But my Mac Pro 2010  (!!!) is still valid with a Radeon RX580 .
Sound that it was a quick excuse for a badly written piece of code

    Claude,

Does disabling open GL help in your case?

I just disabled the "display" part.

    Doesn't really help.

I can try disabling it all - wait a moment

Disabled all - problem went away, it took only longer for calculating a mask.

Re-enabled all, so far so good.
