Adding (transferring) an edited photo from one catalog to another
I deleted a photo by mistake, but I am able to get to "back" from an older backup of the catalog. However, my latest and current catalog has newer edits that are not included in the older backup.
What are my options? How can I take (move) an edited photo from one catalog and move it to my newer catalog, keeping the edits from my backup?
I am on Capture One 14.2.0.
Thank you

Whoops... I think I figured it out. I opened the backup and deleted all the pix except for the one I wanted to "restore".
Then I opened the main catalog and imported the "restore" catalog and, voila, the two merged.
But... I wish there was an easier way.

Since it was already in your backup, I would have opened the backup, exported the image + adjustments, and then gone into the newer catalog and imported the image. It would then be shown in your Recent Imports list and you could move it to another disk location as desired—even if it means deleting the original (if it was still there).
And if the original WAS still there, then after importing I'd have copied the adjustments from the newly imported image, pasted them onto the original in your catalog, and then deleted the newly imported copy.

Abbot, thank you. I hadn't seen that "little" option. Good to know.

Put the image(s) you want to recover in a collection. Select the collection. Use File -> Export Collection as Catalog to export your images plus changes. Do not included referenced images if the original file still exists on your disk and is located where you want it located.
That might be easier than deleting everything you don't want.
