File naming using two tethered cameras

I recently did a shoot with two cameras, both tethered, but not at the same time. I switched between the two by unplugging/plugging in the tether cable to the computer. My issue is the second camera repeats the file names with a "1" added i.e. first camera: "test_shoot_005"  second camera "test_shoot_005 1" . This is fine because nothing is getting overwritten, but in this case there was a large number of images and when the client made their selection I find the images by using the search by filename of their selected images. The issue is the search sees test_shoot_005 and test_shoot_005 1 as valid search results for a search of  "test_shoot_005" . This might not seem like a big deal but it cost me a ton of time sorting through these to get the correct images. Is there a way to make sure the cameras use different file names without manually changing them each time?   Thnx Jeff
